A quick message before I start this post, I just want to let you know that I HAVE A JOB NOW! Woo! You excited for me? Im excited!  Though it is only a three day (maybe more days when i'm needed) I am finally earning myself a bit of hard earned money again.

Also, this means that my posts will be back to being more lifestyle and life updates like they used to be when I worked a while back. *hears hands clapping, cheers, and woop-woops.*
Anyway back to the actual post of today. 

Being a really, like serious athlete back in my time..

Who am I kidding, I am fat-thin, which means that I do everything a 'fat' person does but I stay slim. You see this and think "wow, that must be like a gift," well it's not - I am extremely unfit. I can't even go for a jog down the street without feeling like I can't breath and I'm about to pass out.

Luckily, Nika is here to give us some pointers on how we can get fit without the running and the boring workouts. Here are some extreme workouts, that do honestly look like a lot of fun.





You Wouldn't Believe What People do to Stay in Shape
I’ll be honest with you from the start; working out is not my favourite thing to do. On the other hand, it’s crazy to say that I actually do feel better after a workout. One day while I was sweating baskets on the treadmill, I ran across one of my best ideas. Why am I not having fun while exercising? Like having so much fun that I don’t even realize that I’m working out! There are certainly some crazy workouts out there, so I started googling. When I searched the internet, I found some of the most outrageous ways to work out.  
Naked yogaThinking about trying out naked yoga? It would definitely be a liberating experience for those less shy than me. Did you know that naked yoga has been practised in India since the ancient times? It was popularized in the West after the hippie movement.  In the last 50 years, we have mastered this technique. There are group classes and even countless videos online to help you practice naked yoga in the privacy of your home.
Aerial yogaIsn’t this the craziest thing you can do? You are climbing, spinning, and flipping with a hammock in the air. It’s my dream come true. There are different classes where the hammock is raised only a couple of inches, and other classes that  the hammock can rise up to five feet from the ground.  The best thing about this type of workout is that you do not need to be physically fit to try it.  The hammock supports you while doing the desired poses.  

Skyrobics
Skyrobics takes trampolines to a whole new level. This is not just one trampoline, it’s a trampoline park! Not only are you having fun, but you can burn up to 1,000 calories an hour. This workout combines calisthenics, core exercises, and strength-building aerobics. The inner child in you should be going wild at just thinking about this. Skyrobics should definitely be on your  bucket list!

Pound drumming class

Another crazy fitness class I fell in love with is a drumming class. Awaken your inner rock star aspirations, and hit the gym. A pound drumming class consists of full-body cardio combined with light resistance/constant simulated drumming. Drumming improves focus, higher level thinking, and decision-making skills. This class works out your body and mind.. Pre-workout supplements are perfect for this kind of workout.


Kangoo jumping

A Kangoo jumping class is an aerobic exercise that  combines running, jumping, and dancing. When attending these classes, you are required to have special footwear called Kangoo boots. Kangoo boots make this workout stand out, because you are constantly bouncing up and down. They are like mini trampolines! The effect made while doing this exercise is called rebounding, which is highly beneficial for your overall health. According to professional Kangoo jumpers, it is impossible to lose balance wearing these boots. For the sake of having fun, I’ll believe them!
