I have never heard an unborn baby's heartbeat before until today. My sister's 25 weeks check up meant her listening to her son's heartbeat which sounded like 100 galloping horses. Cute!

As I am only 18 weeks 5 days pregnant today, I have a good 6 weeks before I hear my little one's heartbeat for the first time. However, in only FOUR days me and Alexander find out the gender of our baby. Girl or Boy; what do you think?

We'll see! Another first today was seeing little thumps on my lower stomach of the baby kicking. Normally I can only feel kicks, but I saw a couple good hard kicks. It may be a small thing but it means a lot to me, even if you don't think so yourself. I think only pregnant women or ones who have been through pregnancy know what the feeling is like that I am experiencing right now. 

Not much happened today as you can probably tell, all I did was go see the midwife with my sister, come home and have a couple hours nap, eat, watch the baby kick, and watch the soaps. My day was shit.
