Hello and welcome to another week here in Mommyland. I apologize for the lateness of this post but I lost track of the days while on vacation and was so busy having fun at Disney World that I couldn’t stop to get it live.

Last week was a busy one getting ready for vacation all while keeping an eye on an incoming (major) winter storm.

Without further adieu, here are the Mommyland Happenings.

Sunday.

Taking selfies with Cooper is difficult at best. Taking selfies with Cooper in a moving car is even harder. Cooper was very excited to be heading to Mimi’s house for a tasty Pasta Sunday.

Monday.

After seeing so many of my friends using essential oils I decided to give them a try for myself. This is my diffuser, it has many calming colors to choose from. More on my use of essential oils coming in February.

Tuesday.

Ever since Cooper became a part of our family Nittany doesn’t come around much. While the two of them are getting along a little better, they still aren’t enjoying each other’s company. Nittany came out of hiding to hang out with my while I had lunch. It was a nice treat.

Wednesday.

On January 9th I was dive-bombed by a ginormous owl when I took Cooper out in the early morning hours. The thing was HUGE with a wingspan that had to be 4-5 feet. I haven’t been able to use this mug since. It took me nearly two weeks to recover.

Thursday.

Thanks to the winter storm we got out of town a day early. A huge shout out to Delta for changing our reservations with no fees and Teresa of Be Our Guest Vacations for finding us a Disney option that didn’t break the bank.

Thursday was a crazy busy day making sure we were ready to hit the road early Friday morning.

Friday.

As if going on vacation wasn’t exciting enough, it was also Logan’s very first plane ride. He was so excited to take flight for the first time.

Saturday.

We enjoyed our extra day of vacation shopping and eating in Disney Springs. It was far from warm but we made the most of it and hey, we weren’t buried under two feet of snow!
